Please join us in the Fellowship Hall for a congregational listening session regarding the church building.
This is your opportunity to hear from Station 19 and learn more about their information gathering process. They also want to hear from you as they consider potential updates to our space. It would help Station 19 in their planning to understand the following:
- What do you love most about the ministry at Our Savior?
- What are the feelings/impressions/experiences the church should/could make for first time visitors?
- What are some of the best features of the site and facilities?
- What parts of the facility, if any, do you think need improvement?
Shield616 works tirelessly to help first responders go towards danger knowing that they have the best physical protection available and the love of their community behind them. Their passion is to serve first responders, including police, sheriff, fire, and EMS.
The TOUR de SHIELD616 is a fundraising bike ride on June 19-23 that is making a stop in Excelsior. The ride helps to provide vests and is also a promise to never forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. This year they will be honoring Pope County Sheriff Deputy Josh Owen EOW 4-15-23.
Our Savior has the honor of hosting about 40 riders, many of which are first responders, on Thursday, June 20. They will be arriving in the late afternoon, eating supper, and staying overnight in our Community Center. They will eat breakfast and continue their ride across Minnesota.
What can you do to help? Would you like to welcome, share the Gospel, pray over and love on these bikers/first responders? Would you like to help cook or serve dinner (5-6pm) or Breakfast (7am)? Contact Laurie.Bromenshenkel@oslcs.org.
Would you like to participate in or volunteer during the bike ride? Would you like to donate to this organization as they help protect our protectors? https://shield616.org/2024-tour-de-shield616-minnesota-ride/
