The following groups and organizations have been selected by the Missions Board to receive support from Our Savior Lutheran.

Bringing hope and healing to under-served regions of the world by bringing sight to the blind and develops long-term clinical and surgical eye services.

(Rev Matthew & Kali Wood and children) Rev. Wood is working Medan, Indonesia through LCMS International overseeing publication of the Indonesian Hymnal.

Transforming lives of Kenya’s impoverished children by providing necessities including nutrition, medical care and education in a Christ centered environment, preschool to university.

Ruthie Wagner and her husband Josh share a love for seeing God worshiped among the nations. Ruthie is now Exegete for Tanzania and Archive Curator, overseeing treasured archives used to make God’s Word known in the languages of the earth.

Bringing mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ to those suffering and in need nationally and internationally. LCC also has several K-9 ministries, including bringing comfort dogs to communities that have experienced tragedy.

Breaking the cycle of poverty so families and communities can thrive by helping people build self-sufficiency through agricultural support and teaching techniques to increase yield and market their products. They provide for the physical needs of people with food, water and emergency responses.

Meeting the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Ministry projects include International Crisis Response, U.S. Disaster Relief, Operation Christmas Child, Operation Heal our Patriots and more.

(Jerry Rosamond, member of Our Savior) Partnering with the local Church in each community, bringing believers together and inspiring them to go in the power of the Holy Spirit and make disciples, spending a week or more in each community.

The following groups and organizations have been selected by the Missions Board

Faith Lutheran Church in Minneapolis hosts fellowship meals, Bible study, skill-training classes to prepare for employment, support groups for people with various vision problems, and training to become effective Christian leaders.

Offers hope as they provide to neighbors in need, serving Hopkins, Minnetonka, Excelsior, Shorewood, Deephaven, Greenwood, and Woodland by providing food and resources for struggling families.

Dedicated to the work of empowering local (often overlooked) ministry leaders so that their influence will grow, their communities will thrive and more people will be introduced to the good news about Jesus.

Preparing the Next Generation of Christian Leaders. A highly rated, private, Christian school open to every student regardless of religious affiliation, economic status, ethnic heritage or residence

Meeting the physical, social, and spiritual needs of Muslims and other immigrants and refugees in the United States by sharing the love of Jesus in practical and culturally relevant ways.

On a mission to end hopelessness among local teens and help them realize their true value through mentorships, retreats, and other off-site activities to build deeper relationships with peers and caring adults.
