At Our Savior, youth ministry is more than just a program, it’s a pathway for students to discover who they are in Christ. Through meaningful experiences, trusted relationships, and a Christ-centered focus, we equip middle and high school students to grow in their faith, ask honest questions, and take bold steps in their walk with Jesus. Whether they’re diving into Scripture, serving others, or simply showing up for a night of fun, our goal is to help each student live out their faith with confidence and joy.
At Our Savior Lutheran Church, our youth ministry exists to help students grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and live out the love of Jesus in everyday life. Through Woven Youth Group (grades 6–8) and Elevate Youth Group (grades 9–12), students have a place to connect, ask questions, grow in God’s Word, and discover what it means to follow Christ.
Both groups meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30–8:30pm and focus on three core areas that help students build a Christ-centered foundation:
Build
Through games, outings, retreats, concerts, and time spent together, students have opportunities to build meaningful friendships in a welcoming, safe, and faith-filled environment. We believe relationships are an important part of helping students grow in their faith.
Grow
Each time we gather, students spend time in Bible study and prayer. We encourage the teens to ask questions to help them grow in their understanding of God’s promises, grace, and plan for their lives.
Serve
Students are encouraged to live out their faith by serving others and sharing the love of Christ. Through service projects, mission trips, and opportunities to help those around them, youth learn what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Whether in Woven or Elevate, every student has a place to belong, grow and be encouraged as they follow Jesus.
